snowfall 2!
For those interested. Our second snowfall followed on the heals of the first. December 1st was the first time snow actually resided on the ground without immediately being melted away. Not sure if that's significant or not????? But there it was. Snowfall two, down! December 1st 2010.
The lady just told me it had to be "measurable." I am not sure what that says for my calculations- I can't remember if it accumulated on the 27, or not. But that was just what she used for her calculations. According to the old wives' tale it was "the first snowfall," so I am sticking with the 27th.
ReplyDeleteNow she decides to change to rules! lol we'll see. it only accumulated like an 8th of an inch yesterday so I'm not sure even if that counts. It melted by today.........
ReplyDeletewell, it shouldn't be very hard to figure out pretty quickly whether you are going to have 2 snowfalls or 30... :) keep us posted :D
ReplyDeletehaha we had over 100 cm (about 40 in) about 15-20 minutes north of us... a little less ourselves but I don't know how much exactly
